Kara-Kiwi

Hmm.... well I guess you could call me a hobbyist artist :) Ive been drawing since I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories is watching bob ross on my television and using my crayons to copy him since I wasn't old enough for paint yet. My favorite thing as a child was the movie the lion king. It was the first movie I ever saw in theaters at 4 years old and it just blew my mind and it never left me. Though im not as obsessed and involved in the fandom of it like I used to be but it quite literally ruled my life up into my early 20s. as I got older ive branched out into drawing other things as well trying to improve as an artist but it always seems to be my go to when I just need to draw mindlessly and distress. Ive always envisioned myself being a professional artist but it seems I enjoy it as a hobby more than a profession, I tried to make it a career and it started to feel like a chore over being fun. My goals have switched to primarily doing something with animals. Im currently working to be a professional dog groomer and id really love to help rescue animals and be an advocate in creating more legal rights for animals. I had to put art on hold for a few years for many reasons and plus I just wasn't feelin it anymore. things are currently going well though and I am trying to create art again because I do miss it! I will continue to post here as much as I can as I cant see myself ever not doing art even if I have to take breaks. I appreciate all the fans and friends I have gained here, it has meant so much to me over the years! Thank you all :)
